The best day in pics

Two posts in a row? What is going on here? Mainly B has been waking me up at 4:30 for days on end and although today he didn’t at last, my body still did. Nice.

Anyways, yesterday was just one of those days that was perfect. We celebrated the 4 year anniversary of a good friend’s coffee shop, had a wonderful ultrasound and got to see our littlest man, celebrated G’s birthday, and welcomed a brand new train into our family. Not to mention I woke up to a picture of my best friend’s days old baby girl. Side note, can I please live in a small village with all my family, all my best friends, and all their babies??

Birthday breakfast burrito. Thanks Teresa!

We are both really into him posing in front of Christmas trees right now. This one is at the Red Moose after his soy latte- no espresso.

These beads in the waiting room were way better than seeing his little brother on the screen.

Baby!! It never really occurred to me until this pic and now I am all of a sudden dying to know what he will look like.

We had so many scares with B up to this point that I had already used up all my nervousness before the 20 week ultrasound. Guess I hadn’t this time because I was definitely anxious. It was so nice to hear everything looked great!

Had to stop at this tree for sure on our way to pick up birthday steak dinner.

Notice the huge electric train in that movie and how B won’t begin singing until he repossesses it from G. They got this as a joint G birthday/B Christmas present from Oma and Opa and it will be life changing. If ever we can pry it from B’s clutches we will add batteries and run the track around the tree just like G and his dad did. Right now though no one may touch it.

Not joking. He even slept with the engine part. And why not? It’s so soft and cuddly.

And now it’s Friday the 13th. So even if spooky things happen all day it will be ok because I got in my month’s quota of happy cries yesterday.

  1. McMister’s dad is a huge train guy and always had on around the tree. Until Gracie was born. Bc, he says, “Trains aren’t for kids.” hahahahahha

  2. Love the u/s pic! Look at that cute little nose! We had the same scenario–multiple U/S w/ Evan to check on some worrysome things (turned out to be nothing) and nothing at all to worry about w/ Campbell.

And, I hear you about wanting to live in a village w/ your friends. My friends and I joke (although we’re kind of serious) how nice it would be to live in a commune together! We could help raise each others’ kids…sometimes I think those cavemen had things figured out!

  3. That video is darling! B’s smile is contagious! :)

  4. Cecilia (and i!!!) cannot WAIT to meet me. Lagerwey #2 and Cecilia can’t wait to meet you all!!!! This looks like a wonderful couple days – yay!! So glad ultrasound went well- yay for lots of happy healthy BFC/fab 5 etc babies!!!!
